What JobOps keeps, why, and what it never does.

Who we are
Lambda-Phi JobOps ("JobOps") is made by Lambda-Phi of San Jose, California. Questions about this policy, and requests about your data, go to [email protected].
If you request an invitation
We store the email you give us, your optional one-line answer about your search, and which link brought you here. We use that to send your invitation and for nothing else. The invitation is the only marketing mail you will get.
How we measure this page
The landing page records one first-party visit event per browser session: a random session identifier, the page variant shown, and the source link you arrived from. To stop abuse, each request also leaves your network address in a throttle ledger that is purged every hour. No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics, no fingerprinting, and nothing tied to your name unless you request an invitation.
If you become a member
Your account holds your email and sign-in records. Your career materials — your résumé, the profile built from your interview conversation, and your preferences — are used to run your search and to prepare materials for your review, and for nothing else. Your job-search state (roles found, briefings, prepared documents, the conversation with your agent, support conversations) is mirrored from your workspace so your dashboard can show it to you. If you turn on phone alerts, we keep the push subscription your browser issues.
Your workspace and sign-ins
You sign in to LinkedIn, Google, and your AI account yourself, inside your own workspace; JobOps does not ask for those passwords and they never leave your workspace. Some job boards require their own account: when one does, JobOps can create that account for you with a generated password, kept in your workspace's credential store where you can see it from Account. Your workspace is a dedicated machine that is not shared with any other account.
Gmail and Calendar, if you connect them
Connecting Google is optional and asks for two permissions: to read and organize your Gmail messages and create drafts, and to create and edit the calendar events JobOps makes. With them, JobOps reads recent mail to find employer replies, interview invitations, and application confirmations; files job-search mail with labels according to your settings; drafts replies for your review; and adds interview times to your calendar. Message text is processed inside your workspace by the AI account you connected yourself, on that provider's terms; it is not shared with anyone else. JobOps keeps what it derived — a status change, an interview time, a short note — and the working notes of each check, on your workspace's encrypted volume, which belongs to your account alone. Your Google tokens are stored there too. You can disconnect from Account at any time, or revoke JobOps from your Google account's permissions page.
JobOps' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to train models.
Billing
Payments are taken by our payment processor on its own secure pages. We never see or store your card number; we keep only your subscription state and the processor's reference for it.
Who else handles your data
We use service providers to host data, run the service, deliver notifications, and process payments; they receive only the data needed for those functions. The AI that reads postings and drafts your materials runs under the AI account you connect yourself, on that provider's terms. Google handles data only if you connect Gmail and Calendar, and your phone's notification service only if you turn on alerts. We do not publish our vendor list; ask us if you need it for a review.
What we send you
One invitation email, the automatic account emails (sign-in confirmations, password resets), your payment receipts, status messages when your setup finishes or something needs you — by email and, if you turn them on, as phone alerts — and replies to your support questions. No drip campaigns, no reminders, no "we miss you."
What we never do
We don't sell your data, share it for advertising, or use it to train models. JobOps never submits applications or contacts employers on your behalf.
Deletion and retention
We keep your account data while your subscription is active. Ask, and we delete your waitlist entry, or your account, its workspace, and the data that goes with it; we confirm by email when it is done. Write to [email protected].
